Intercessory Prayer Ministry 2019
Praise be to our LORD that He has welcomed us into this new year to continue our journey with Him. As we live out this year, prayer continues to be a core value of our ministry at Third Baptist Church. This year has been declared the year of “Excellence.” With everything that we do, God should be glorified. Colossians 3:23-24 says it best, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.” (NIV)
We hope that you join us this year as we continue to grow as disciples of our LORD Jesus Christ. Each Thursday at 7:00am-7:15am, is designated as our Hope through Prayer time. Please join us each morning as we seek the face of God on behalf of our brothers and sisters. You can also join us in the sanctuary of Third Baptist for Intercessory prayer on the first and fourth Sundays of each month at 9:00am (8:30am during our summer time worship).
This year God is calling each of us who proclaim Him as our God to make prayer a priority in our lives. Seek out time daily to dedicate to prayer. Allow its transformational power to create a spirit of excellence within you. Be mindful to pray for the spirit of excellence in families, government, media, education, arts & entertainment, business, and religion. Remember that this is not about you but for the ministry of Jesus Christ our Lord.
So, let EXCELLENCE through the power of God’s Holy Spirit lead us as we pray with a spirit of excellence in the name of our LORD Jesus Christ!
