The Challenge

Our focus as a ministry is to empower every believer to fulfill their created purpose. God has invited us to share in the journey of transformation and it "does not appear what you shall be". We invite you, and challenge you, to embrace the kingdom call upon your life. We have provided a resource link to help you in this effort so let's take the Disipleship Challenge!

Our Foundation

At Third Baptist Church, our vision is to "transform the world one disciple at a time, by the living of our faith". As a community of faith, we are committed to our Core Values of Love, Outreach, Accountability & Discipleship. We believe God has endowed us with a kingdom call to grow spiritually, love endlessly and serve faithfully. Worship, study and service are important aspects of our ministry and we would love to have you join us as we carry the Kingdom L.O.A.D.

Intercessory Prayer Ministry 2021

In this year, our prayer forcus will center on the Book of Proverbs. These are the proverbs of Solomon, David’s son, king of Israel. Their purpose is to teach people wisdom and discipline, to help them understand the insights of the wise. Their purpose is to teach people to live disciplined and successful lives, to help them do what is right, just, and fair. These proverbs will give insight to the simple, knowledge and discernment to the young. Let the wise listen to these proverbs and become even wiser. Let those with understanding receive guidance by exploring the meaning in these proverbs and parables, the words of the wise and their riddles. Fear of the Lord is the foundation of true knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline. Proverbs 1: 1-7

We will continue to do the same through our weekly Third Baptist Church Hope Prayer Line on Thursdays at 7:00am. Join us by dialing 712-775-7035 using code 290035# every Thursday and for Intercessory Prayer at 9:00am on the first and fourth Sundays. Pray with us each month with a prayer written from the Book of Proverbs (link below). Our Prayer Playback number is 1-712-775-7039, code 290035#  for those who miss our morning prayer. Invite a friend and join us during these sacred moments of gathering.

This is the Year of Restoration and we are setting our sights on restoring spiritual disciplines back into our lives. Restoration requires us all as lovers of Christ Jesus to move by His Spirit and to be faithful to our calling. So, get ready and join us in this journey!
